    Vascular Access Devices, a sub-business unit of Medication Delivery Solutions, focuses on developing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality medical devices used by clinicians throughout the worldwide healthcare industry to access a patient’s vasculature. Our devices assist in the delivery of chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, and nutrition.

    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    This position is responsible to support the sales and product-support processes for product lines that have unique support requirements. The primary example is our line of capital equipment and its requirements for quotes, sales programs, and service requests. Members of this team are the primary contact when our sales team needs assistance in supporting their capital equipment customers.

    Essential Job Functions

    The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.

    • Facilitate the quoting process for capital equipment
    • Administer equipment evaluation programs
    • Administer sales programs
    • Manage and process sales orders
    • Ordering of replacement parts
    • Release of international orders
    • Facilitate the resolution of customer service issues
    • Analysis and reporting on the above processes and programs
    • Dealing with customer quotes which are varied and often complex, requiring good judgment and the ability to make appropriate decisions in a timely manner
    • Interfacing with the Bard Access Systems’ Sales

    Basic Qualifications

    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with and coordinate between multiple groups
    • Detail/results oriented with strong follow-through on projects
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

    Education and/or Experience

    This position requires:

    • Three to four (3-4) years' experience in customer interaction/support role
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

    The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.

    Physical Demands

    This position is in an office and laboratory environment and requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to twenty five pounds occasionally. The incumbent may be required to stand for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
