    Responsible for (a) the development of financially viable agreements in support of divisional sales and profit goals; (b) evaluating and processing field transactions and; (c) maintaining the contracts files and the associated systems; (d) manage high level process(es) for the contracts department to support business initiatives, with an emphasis on indirect sales (via distribution).

    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    Work closely with our distributors to ensure sales tracings and chargebacks are recorded timely and accurately and are representative of the pricing we have offered to our end customers. Coordinate with the Sales Force (including TMs, DMs and RMs), the National Accounts team, Corporate Vice Presidents and Corporate Law Department personnel on the development, distribution and compliance with bids, proposals and contracts. Support the Sales Force with Indirect sales field and other various ad-hoc requests.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Process sales tracings and chargebacks provided by distributors, either via manual spreadsheets or via EDI (electronic)
    • Work closely with distributors on denials and resubmittals to ensure prompt resolution of discrepancies
    • Prepare sales summaries and other analytics for leadership
    • Accurately create and maintain individual/group pricing contracts in i5, to ensure customers are billed correctly
    • Maintain group membership in i5 to ensure customers are billed correctly
    • Organize and maintain files, both electronic and hard copies.
    • Coordinate with Corporate Law Department personnel to prepare various types of contract agreements.
    • Issue, process and follow-up on contract expiration notices.
    • Consolidate department data, number of contracts, field transactions and sales value of specific groups.
    • Assist with researching price discrepancies and issuance of invoice credits.
    • Ad hoc projects, as needed

    Basic Qualifications

    • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, analytical, decision maker, effective communicator, self motivated, team player, professional in person, via email and over the phone
    • Computer expert in Microsoft Office programs and basic ERP systems

    Education and/or Experience

    • BS in Business or equivalent business experience preferred.
    • 1 year contracts experience
    • 1 year finance and/or customer service experience preferred

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch. 

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
