INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
The function of this role will be primarily technical and chemical in nature, but will be differentiated from other dip operators in that they will be expected to be engaged with the dip room work flow and strategy, in coordinating the mix of work prioritized by the TMI dip, proof load, mount and takedown operators. These operators will be charged with production tracking and daily communication with the TL and LMO to ensure appropriate coverage, machine uptime and the achievement of daily and weekly targets. Technical skill and positive, professional communication ability will be essential.
Performs any combination of tasks involved in the manufacture and assembly of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
High School diploma or GED, plus a minimum of three year of prior related work experience in manufacturing.
May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes. Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort occasionally present in the work situation (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.). May be subject to situations requiring precautions due to the potential for minor injury or other health hazards.
