  • Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    This position reports to the Supervisor, Sales Support Team, and provides after-sales support to BD UCC’s Sales Territory Managers and Bard Medical customers. This position works very closely with the Supervisor to ensure the department’s stated goals and quality standards are achieved.  This position will be responsible for a multitude of tasks including, but not limited to the following: dealer management, Marketing support, after sales support, GDC liaison, assist with product returns, and sales force support. The duties of this position will adjust to the needs of the business as it grows, as well as provide support to all of the Sales Support Team and Order Processing.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Dealer Management.
    • Proof of Delivery (POD) resolution.
    • Manage processing and delivery of orders with supply chain and accounts.
    • Assist in managing product returns.
    • Work with GDC contacts and couriers to ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner to meet all customer requests and needs.
    • Process customer and Territory Manager returns.
    • Provide Marketing support throughout BD UCC Franchises.
    • Provide sales support for EIC/Endo conversions, PAK agreements, and stock transfers.
    • Process sample orders.
    • Provide phone coverage back-up to Order Processing Team as needed.
    • Cross train on all Sales Support Functions to provide back-up to Sales Support Representatives.
    • Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and future opportunities.
    • Adheres to and ensures compliance with C. R. Bard, Inc., guidelines, protocols, and policies.
    • Other duties may be assigned as required.

    Basic Qualifications


    • Strong people and relationship building skills.
    • Ability to solve problems quickly
    • Skilled in the use of personal computers and office software including familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Ability to solve basic Math equations.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
    • Ability to resolve potentially stressful customer interactions.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • JDE experience desirable.
    • Demonstrated excellence in the continuous handling of meticulous detail.
    • Excellent data entry, proofreading, and typing skills.
    • All job duties to be performed with a minimum of supervision.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Customer Service or comparable experience required, ideally in medical industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree desired.

    Physical Demands

    • This individual will work in an office environment with moderate noise. Infrequent lifting of over 25 lbs will be required.
