    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    This position is a CS&S Coordinator I for the Capital Systems & Services department that will be responsible for maintaining the day to day activities of receiving and processing service records, loaner logistic management, and capital inventory movements.  (per applicable standards, operating procedures and work instructions).

    Essential Job Functions

    • Receive and process incoming requests via phone, email, and fax.
    • Responsible for accurately document all alleged deficiency's and the requested servicing on BPV capital equipment into the electronic CS&S database and assigning failure codes to assist service centers with root cause evaluation/investigation.
    • Responsible for accurately making complaint determination, performing severity assessment, and determining reportability on all reported issues. (e.g. MDR, etc).
    • Responsible for accurately recording and documenting all complaint related information received from customers and Bard employees into the service records.
    • Research capital equipment ownership, contract status, and service history.
    • Accurately initiate and process equipment loaner/replacement movements with the ERP system.
    • Request and coordinate loaner/replacement shipments with BES, WOM, & Taz.
    • Order and maintain packaging materials for magnum loaner and return box shipping requests.
    • Responsible for performing follow up calls to customers and Bard employees to return equipment & obtain additional information needed to process service records. 
    • Update replacement serial #’s within service records and contract agreements.
    • Close files for all product groups in a timely manner.
    • Trains on, understand and follow company procedures and regulatory requirements.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Medical industry (GMP) experience preferred.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment.  The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
