  • Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for coordinating, organizing and controlling, the inventory in the nonconforming material process under the direction of the Quality Assurance Department.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Responsibility for managing the inventory in the nonconforming material process and material under quarantine
    • Controlling the receipt and release of product from the nonconforming material process
    • Coordinate and manage repair PO’s
    • Communicate with suppliers on returns and RMA’s including execution of the return process
    • Create and maintain all nonconforming material in the MRP (MFG pro) system
    • Coordinate return material with shipping and receiving
    • Maintain, and verify the accuracy of the non-conforming material log
    • Coordinate closure for non-Conformances in accordance with defined goals
    • Coordinate and ensure investigations/evaluations are conducted within specified goals defined in the nonconforming material process
    • Maintain data and material controls to drive proper execution of the scrap process per the nonconforming material process
    • Ensure compliance to the nonconforming material process and drive process improvements as required to maintain compliance.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications

    • High School diploma
    • 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing of Electro-Mechanical devicesExperience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and “do it right the first time” attitude
    • 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing of Electro-Mechanical devices
    • Quality first driven with a constant change / improvement attitude
    • Ability to coordinate and escalate as appropriate to meet the goals of the nonconforming material process and the business needs

     

    Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

    • Basic familiarity with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to utilize a computer to enter data and prepare reports

    Education and/or Experience

    High School diploma or GED required.

    1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing of Electro-Mechanical devicesExperience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
