    Bard has joined BD, together advancing the world of health.  BD Urology & Critical Care, formerly Bard Medical, is looking to fill the position of Bilingual Customer Care Specialist located in Covington, GA.

    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    This position reports to the Customer Care Supervisor. The Customer Care Specialist’s primary responsibility is to convert prescription referrals and end-user leads into new business. The Customer Care Specialist will work closely with the Bard Care Sales and Marketing teams to expand and develop the prescription program, convert end-user business, support digital/direct to consumer sales program, and meet the objectives of sales and marketing campaigns. This position requires a great amount of empathy and patience when working with patients to assist them with their medical needs, as well as a high level of professionalism. The duties of this position will adjust to the needs of the business as it grows.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Prescription Fulfillment Program
      • Process incoming prescriptions
      • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships by establishing rapport with the customer
      • Develop and maintain relationships with provider partners to ensure patient needs are being met
    • Maintain Records in Sales Force.com
      • Reporting and data mining to assist with market/program analysis
      • Accurately record customer interactions
    • Support of Sales Team with management of patient scripts, dealer relationships, and physician offices
    • Monitor Email & Voicemail
    • Provide Marketing Support

    Basic Qualifications

    • Passion for excellence and commitment to customer satisfaction. • Skilled in the use of personal computers and office software including familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. JDE and Salesforce.com experience desirable. • Strong decision making and analytical abilities. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information. • Ability to resolve potentially stressful customer interactions. • Excellent organizational skills. • Demonstrated excellence in the continuous handling of meticulous detail. • Excellent data entry, proofreading, and typing skills. • Willingness to work flexible schedule when needed

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bilingual, Spanish and English, with written and spoken proficiency in each language.
    • 2-3 years customer service, telesales, or digital marketing experience, ideally in the medical device industry.
    •  Experience in a clinical environment.
    • Associates degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or science preferred.

    Physical Demands

    • This individual will work in an office environment with moderate noise.  Infrequent lifting of over 25 lbs will be required.
    • Occasional travel may be required.
