    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    The FI Clerk is responsible for processing and filing specific inventory orders that are received directly through the BPV Sales Representatives.  These orders are integral for our Sales department to do their jobs, so accuracy and speed are ever important. 

    Essential Job Functions

    • Process In-field sales orders and Stock Transfer forms
    • Coordinates with Field inventory Coordinators on physical inventory scans on a monthly basis.
    • Track units of inventory to discover origination point and transactional history of inventory as it changes hands
    • Manage tracking database referencing Bard owned equipment
    • Other office duties such as filing as assigned
    • Customer and Key Contacts:
      • Field Inventory Team Members – Work with your team to ensure accurate processing of pertinent information, and ensure that all members are caught up on new policies and/or procedures
      • Customer Service / Contracts – Maintain communication to assist with par level disputes or pricing issues that need correction
      • Sales Representatives – Processing Sales Orders from the field is the key role. You are responsible to the sales team to enter accurate and timely sales information

    Basic Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Self-starter, motivated, enjoys a challenge.
    • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing with a Windows based environment.
    • Individual must be flexible, with an ability to work in an independent, proactive manner, as well as part of a team.

    Education and/or Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1+ years of business operations or business process experience. 

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear and will commonly use general office equipment.  Will be required to type and follow office procedures.    

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment.  Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
