  • Overview

    Responsible for providing assistance in the daily implementation of the production schedule.

    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    • Lead, assign, and direct associates in coordination of schedule to ensure efficient production flow.
    • Coordinate manning assignments to accomplish daily work schedules.
    • Communicate to all shifts about scheduling daily demands, procedure training, and training verification.
    • Create maintenance work orders and/or purchase orders for miscellaneous supplies as required.
    • Review written procedures for accuracy and work with supervisor on necessary changes.
    • Interface with planners on scheduling issues.
    • Provide maintenance updates of associate work hours in KRONOS as required.
    • Promote and maintain departmental housekeeping and safety as required by regulatory agencies.
    • Fill in when and where required for coverage of absence, PTO or vacation. Work flexible hours as needed.
    • Responsible for communicating quality, and/or safety concerns to management.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Essential Job Functions

    Basic Qualifications

    • Detail oriented, accuracy required. Capable of working through problems logically and objectively.
    • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
    • Computer experience preferred.

    Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

    • Lean and/or Six Sigma Experience a plus
    • Experience in regulated manufacturing environment a plus


    Education and/or Experience

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 5+ years experience in a high volume, dynamic manufacturing environment.
