  • Overview

    Plan production of latex products to meet marketing forecasts in specific time frames relative to effective utilization of manufacturing personnel, equipment, and supplies.


    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    • Plan, procure and manage the planning and production flow of various manufacturing departments producing components and finished products.
    • Monitor and coordinate the flow of materials to control raw materials, work in process and finished goods inventory within predetermined parameters.
    • Integrate the requirements of our customer within production capacity to insure acceptable service levels of product delivery.
    • Coordinate the information flow in the company to insure level production loads and budget requirements.
    • Participate in systems design and production coordinating meetings and supply information, as required.
    • Prepare and publish procedures, reports, etc., to internal and external departments for improved communications.
    • Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
    • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
    • Schedule shift according to production needs
    • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
    • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
    • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
    • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
    • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, purchasing, and other staff

    Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

    • CPIM/CPM Certification preferred

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
    • 3 to 7 years experience in scheduling and/or planning.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

    Work Environment

    • The noise level in the work environment is normally quiet to moderate.
    • 100% of day spent indoors.
