Plan production of latex products to meet marketing forecasts in specific time frames relative to effective utilization of manufacturing personnel, equipment, and supplies.
Summary of Position with General Responsibilities
Plan, procure and manage the planning and production flow of various manufacturing departments producing components and finished products.
Monitor and coordinate the flow of materials to control raw materials, work in process and finished goods inventory within predetermined parameters.
Integrate the requirements of our customer within production capacity to insure acceptable service levels of product delivery.
Coordinate the information flow in the company to insure level production loads and budget requirements.
Participate in systems design and production coordinating meetings and supply information, as required.
Prepare and publish procedures, reports, etc., to internal and external departments for improved communications.
Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Schedule shift according to production needs
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, purchasing, and other staff
Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge
CPIM/CPM Certification preferred
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
3 to 7 years experience in scheduling and/or planning.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
