    Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

    Responsible for sourcing, attracting and landing great talent to join our dynamic Sales organization. At BD Peripheral Intervention we are constantly growing and developing our Sales organization. As the Recruiter you would be responsible for helping to drive the "Full Life Cycle" recruiting process within our fast-paced environment by working directly with the hiring managers and/or the HR Respresentative. Some of the daily responsibilities include managing the recruiting database (Icims) reviewing and dispositioning resumes, conducting phone screens to qualify candidates and posting new requisitions while complying with federal and state requirements. Focused efforts include: networking, job boards, social media and employee/manager referrals. This is a temporary position anticipated to last approximately 5-6 months.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Own and drive the selection process for Sales positions.
    • Ability to partner with managers, supervisors and HR to understand hiring needs across the division.
    • Proven ability to create and drive Sales sourcing plans.
    • Demonstrated time-to-fill Sales metrics (quick turnaround).
    • Ability to quickly learn the business.
    • Respond to candidates’ inquiries.
    • Screen employment applications and schedule pre-employment testing.
    • Coordinate and conduct interview process.
    • Negotiate offers as required.
    • Prepare for and participate in new employee orientation as needed.
    • Oversee and own all recruitment advertising activities.
    • Maintain employee and Human Resource records including job requisitions, applications and affirmative action data.
    • Administer and be responsible for managing job postings.
    • Exercise discretionary judgment while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
    • Ability to work on a number of Sales and non-Sales reqs. as assigned.
    • Perform other staffing related duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications

    Strong organizational skills. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in Microsoft office applications including, Word and Excel

    Proven social media skills with knowledge of relevant competitors.

    Strong interviewing skills and understanding of local labor markets

    Successful track record as a recruiter; positive reputation as a relationship builder with market resources and networks.

    Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

    Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking software desirable.

    Experience recruiting for Sales in medical device industry a plus.

    Strong sense of urgency.

    High energy and a positive disposition.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor’s Degree and five+ years of recruiting experience (Sales experience preferred) or comprable years of experience.

     

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
