Bard Urological and Critical Care a BD Company is looking for an innovative leader to fill an Associate Product Manager position in Covington, GA.  Formerly Bard Medical we have joined BD together advancing the world of health.




Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

Developmental position for growth into branded product management within Urology and Critical Care. This individual will manage the product portfolio including Brachytherapy, Wound Drains, NG tubes, irrigation and suction.  The associate will be tasked with improving profitability of the product portfolio by raising prices, product line consolidation, supply cost reduction, etc. The associate will also lead efforts related to product maintenance.  The Associate is assigned additional projects involving new business development, sales training, and business plan development upon demonstrated success with the current product line.

Essential Job Functions

  • Proactively identify and execute on sales support needs, including backorder management, sales tools, and sales training initiatives
  • Analyzes business results
  • Implements target audience research and analysis
  • Monitor competitive activity and communicate updates and rebuttal strategy to the sales organization
  • Forecasts sales volume
  • Coordinates with various suppliers
  • Interfaces with multi-disciplines, such as R&D, Customer Service, Sales, Medical Services, Regulatory, and Marketing Communications.
  • Develops presentations
  • Directs interaction with customer base

Education and/or Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably with concentration in marketing or engineering). MBA a plus
  • Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Prefer, minimum 2 years business experience, preferably in marketing or sales capacity.

Physical Demands

Employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk and hear. May occasionally lift objects of 10 to 25 lbs.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work Environment

This position works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.  Minimal travel is required.
