This position implements C.R. Bard domestic and international regulatory affairs procedures. This position may also act as a liaison to Corporate Law Department, providing requested information.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and is not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.


  1. Researching and finding artwork changes within Build of Materials that need upgrading.
  2. Generate artwork change requests for internal and multi-divisional sites.
  3. Assists product development teams in gathering, organizing, and indexing artwork for inclusion in design reviews and dossiers.
  4. Maintains a documentation status report for designated labeling projects.
  5. Oversees the labeling documentation that integrates labels into the BAS documentation systems
  6. Understands the process of documentation practices across manufacturing sites
  7. Provides communication to members of cross-functional teams as required.
  8. Works effectively with project teams and has a great attention to details
  9. Creates and provides team project and change request reports as required.
  10. Assists with Corporate bar coding lists, as in preparation, request and receipt of information.
  11. Obtains document approvals and signatures as required for artwork implementation.
  12. Performs special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

This position requires at least three years combined experience in one or more of the following positions: technical writing associate/assistant, executive assistant, administrative assistant, or office management. This position requires the ability to process and breakdown technical information for product development documentation. This position also requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databasing and filing. Incumbent must have an aptitude to pick up on multiple systems, possess the ability to interact with all levels and work within a team environment. An Associates degree or two years post high school education in business, English, or a technical writing field, or equivalent experience is highly desired. QUMAS knowledge and skills are a plus, as well as the ability to speak/read Spanish.

Physical Demands

This position is in an office environment and requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to twenty five pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
