Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

We have 5 openings for Associate Engineering Technician Temporary Employees. This assignment is expected to last 6 months. This employee will perform various processes for development and packaging which are primarily done in a clean room environment. This requires following SOPs and GMPs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in the execution of test protocols and procedures. Sets up and operate test equipment and record measurements with limited supervision.
  • Provide process/test method training to manufacturing/QC personnel.
  • Assist with projects and qualifications when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork.
  • Utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in pilot manufacturing processes.
  • Perform inspection of own work and work done at prior pilot operations.
  • Assist in training of others; including regular full time and subcontract personnel.
  • Work with little supervision.
  • Complete work on time through initiative and self motivation.
  •  Solve problems through innovation.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to work in a team. Good communication skills (written/verbal). Ability to integrate written and verbal instructions. Detail oriented. Basic organizational skills. Basic knowledge of standard laboratory practices. Basic math/statistics skills. Ability to collect record and report data accurately. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to operate lab equipment.

Education and/or Experience

 High school diploma.

 

A minimum of two years related experience

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
