Bard Urological and Critical Care a BD Company is looking for an innovative leader to fill an Associate Product Manager position in Covington, GA.

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

Developmental position for growth into branded product management. Supports and executes comprehensive portfolio plans and integrated programs for the purpose of maximizing sales & profitability under the supervision of the Marketing Manager. 


Designs and manages tactical execution of marketing programs in conjunction with the salesforce and gains expertise in product development, product management and downstream marketing.


The Associate is assigned additional projects involving voice of customer, sales training, and business plan input upon demonstrated success with the current product line.

Essential Job Functions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following.  Other duties may be assigned.


  • Develop sales tools & promotional materials in order to drive achievement of annual sales growth
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives and execution

  • Work with cross-functional key partners including but not limited to Sales, R&D, Customer Service, Strategic Events, Reimbursement, and Regulatory
  • Actively spends time with customers, internal and field visits, to ensure alignment of marketing plans in fulfilling customer and market needs and to ensure strong customer & competitor insights
  • Analyze business results including financial, customer, and internal process metrics
  • Assist in the development of market research plans and project execution
  • Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Work with Operations Management to ensure the maintenance of proper production and inventory levels and proactively communicate areas of concern as appropriate     
  • Assess and report on competitive activity in the marketplace 
  • Support global marketing organization through sharing key strategies and marketing materials to global partners

Education and/or Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably with concentration in marketing)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience, preferably in marketing or sales capacity
  • Industry experience in healthcare, medical device, or pharma preferred

Physical Demands

Work Environment
