The Senior Applications Specialist will design, analyze, implement and support computer systems and solutions based on the business requirements defined within our organization. Develops and maintains essential procedures and processes for supporting systems of medium to high complexity.

Essential Job Functions

  • Proficient in executing ServiceMax/Salesforce.com (SFDC) Administrative tasks such as creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Events, Workflows, and Validation Rules.
  • Interface with end Users to address the day-to-day user support needs such as account creation, configure system settings and options, managing licenses, password support, etc.
  • Interface with internal/external support teams, vendors, & business Users to identify, track, & resolve issues.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for functionality within ServiceMax and staying current on new and upcoming enhancements to assist Users in accepting new functions and deploying the new enhancements.
  • Maintain a list of system maintenance requirements and enhancement opportunities for leadership review/prioritization.
  • Document functional requirements; plan and execute unit testing, integration testing and User Acceptance Testing, and Coordinating with business Users during the requirements definition process.
  • Evaluate and implement changes for system releases in a validated environment including: testing to ensure accuracy, working with Global Service and Repair and supporting organizations.
  • Execute & follow computer system validation documentation including, but not limited to: Requirement & Design documentation, validation testing - IQ, OQ & PQ Test Plans, Test Scripts & authoring summary reports for system release (Major and Minor).
  • Lead & support team members by providing guidance, delegating task assignment, prioritizing activities & managing project schedules.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline, or equivalent specialized experience. Advanced degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of ServiceMax and/or Salesforce Administration experience

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

  • Relative System Certifications in Salesforce/ServiceMax Administration

  • Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred

  • Working knowledge of Field and Depot Service Operations and associated business processes

  • Strong written & verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, & organizational skills

  • Demonstrated advanced MS Excel and data management skills

  • Proven track record of superior support and customer service

  • Experience managing others a plus

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline, or equivalent specialized experience. Advanced degree is a plus.
