| Overview: |
Responsible for initiating the sterilization process to include preparation and placement of biological indicators, and activities to assure that product is received into sterilization process per specification and procedures. Responsible for all warehouse/material distribution tasks relative to receiving product into Regional Sterilization.

| Essential Job Functions: |
|
| Basic Qualifications: |
• Possess a basic understanding of the sterilization process.
• Knowledge of GMPs, GDPs
• Must have forklift experience
• Must have material handling equipment experience
• Possess basic computer skills
• Possess knowledge of warehouse equipment such as shrink wrap machines and
strapping machines
• Good organizational skills
• Self-starter

| Education and/or Experience: |
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent, with preferably some technical or college education.
- Two to 4 years of experience in the operation of material handling equipment and inventory management is desirable.

| Physical Demands: |
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to episodes of prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting and turning, and frequent use of hands to finger, handle and feel. This job includes detailed close vision work.The employee must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. In addition, the employee is exposed to extreme variations in temperature.
